Course Description 


This course introduces the fundamentals of industrial robotics through a combination of theory and hands-on practice. Participants will learn how robotic systems operate in manufacturing environments, including basic programming, system setup, and interaction with industrial equipment.

The training also covers essential concepts in system integration, communication, and troubleshooting. By the end of the course, participants will have a solid foundation to support and work with robotic systems in automated environments.

  • System setup (limits, payload, alarms)
  • Frames (tool, user, jog)

  • Programming logic (IF, SELECT, subroutines)
  • Advanced functions (offsets, override)
  • UOP I/O

  • Multitasking and synchronization
  • Timing (Wait, Timeout)
  • Recovery
  • Exercise: tasks

Day 6

  • Ethernet/IP basics
  • Robot-PLC setup
  • I/O mapping
  • Exercise: communication

Day 7

  • Studio 5000 basics
  • PLC integration
